I love my wife & my children. I eat pizza and really enjoy working with startup companies.

To Whom It May Concern (i.e. YOU):

Please do not take this personally, but after years of receiving texts that should be emails and emails that should be texts I finally decided to start this website to help you (and everyone else I know that breaks this rule) learn the rules of the game.  Hopefully you will find this helpful in learning what texts should be used for and what emails should be used for.  Here are some examples to get you started:

Purpose of Emails:

-Scheduling events more than 5 minutes away

-More than a one sentence thank you/follow-up

-Anything that is NOT urgent

Purpose of Texts:

-Telling someone that you are 5 minutes late for lunch

-Letting someone know that you'll be a little late hopping on a conference call

-Telling your spouse/loved one you love them and miss them

-Asking someone to pray for something that is about to happen

-Anything that is URGENT

Here are some examples of what NOT to do on texts:

-Scheduling a call/meeting/breakfast/lunch/dinner for next week/month

-Asking someone to do something that doesn't need to be done in next 15 minutes

-Anything that can be done on email

-General FYIs

-Anything that is NOT urgent!
